I think I'll start blogging again. Facebook has taken over and I forgot how much I like blogging.

I need to do this more often, here it is June and Christmas is just around the corner. SLOW
DOWN DEIDRE!!!!!! We just finished another year of baseball. It was great. Treyson really did well this year pitching. I was stupid again and agreed to be on the little league board. I've spent most of my time between the baseball fields and my greenhouse. Wow, my green house. I love it!!! Here are a few pictures of the flowers I've started in my greenhouse. They are just starting to bloom. I will take more pictures in August when everything is in full bloom. Might be until August before I blog again. We have all-star baseball until the middle of July and then it's the 24th of July and then school starts the 2nd week in August. I told you that Christmas is just around the corner.

Holy Cow! Has it really been a year since I updated my blog. What the heck is wrong with me? We have been so busy over the last year. We moved into a new house in March, baseball started right after that, we planted a huge garden this summer 24 rows of corn, 3 rows of tomatoes, 1 row of potatoes, 9 squash plants, 10 pumpkin plants, 8 cucumber plants, and 5 watermelon plants, 1 row of peas and carrots. Needless to say I spent most of my summer in the garden and then most of the fall bottling and drying apples off our apple tree. Now it is Christmas time and I'm running like mad trying to get it all done. I think I need to just slow down my life and enjoy it. Oh and RJ started a new job in November. He is doing what he has always wanted to do, he's Cowboying. He runs a LOT of cows for a local farmer here in Enterprise. He is really loving it. He rides his horse everyday and really enjoys it. As for me I'm working a couple of days a week out at my dads restaurant Marv's, and still trying to run RJ's satellite business. Oh and trying to raise 4 kids who are always running in different directions. Life is crazy but it is fun. Hope all is well with everyone and I'll try to post pictures soon. Take care and have a great Holiday season.

A Few Things We Did In December.

NFR WITH THE KIDS. We took the kids to the NFR for the
first time, (thank you Allison Bigler's Parents). We had a great
time. We picked the kids up after school, drove to Vegas, ate at
Red Lobster, went to the NFR, and got back home around 1:30am. It was a lot of fun

WARD CHRISTMAS PARTY. The kids participated in the ward program at the Christmas party. Lea was a kitten, Kaiden was a
Nephite, and Treyson was a
Sheppard. They all did a good job. Earlier that day the kids decorated the Christmas tree by
themselves.

BUILDING A SNOWMAN. We got about 3 feet of snow just before Christmas. I love the snow, until you have all your kids
home from school and they can't go outside to play. The day we built the snowman it snowed another 2-3 inches. Treyson and
Lea were both to cold to come back out for a picture. (Wimps)
It has been so nice the last few days that our snowman has melted,
melted, melted.

FAMILY CHRISTMAS PARTY WITH GRANDMAS JONES.
This year my family decided we would not exchange gifts with
each other. Instead we decided that we would write a note to
everyone (30 total) telling them what we loved most about them.
We each put our notes into canister and that is what we got for
Christmas. We took Grandma Jones down to her and had a little
party. Each of the kids got to do some sort of talent and my mom
even won the hula hoop contest (she is awesome for 57). We all had a great time and I think
Grandma did too. We love you grandma Jones.

CHRISTMAS DAY. We had a really small and quiet Christams this year. Blakelee got a new baby and all the baby stuff, (stroller, car seat and swing.) Lea got a scooter and a Barbie house
Kaidend got a scooter and a Deisel, Treyson got a baseball glove and a new puppy. For the past
6 weeks that is all Treyson has asked for. I kept telling him that Santa had to ask his mom and
dad about the puppy and his mom and dad said no. Well Christmas morning he was so
surprised. A few hours after we had finished opening presents, Treyson came into the kitchen
with big tears in his eyes. I asked him what had happened, and he said, "This is the best Christmas of my life." (Making it all worth it.) She is a very cute puppy and very good. We have already got her potty trained (well mostly) and she is only 8 weeks. She won't get much bigger than she is right now. Her name is Halle. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that you will have an even better New Year. We miss and love you all.

Kaiden's Baptism

We hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had a great one. This year we had Thanksgiving with my family. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work. Everyone was there except for my sister MiKell and her family. So we had 10 adults and 15 kids. We really did have a good time together. On Saturday Kaiden was baptized with his 2nd cousin Kindy. Kindy is the daughter of Ryan and Melanie Christensen. RJ and Ryan are 1st cousins and grew up together. They did everything together including rodeo. Kaiden and Kindy were born 3 days apart, so we decided to do their baptisms together. It was such a great day. Kaiden had to pick someone to give a talk on baptism and he picked his cousin Gavon. Gavon is a year older than Kaiden but they have always been very close. Gavon really has a soft heart and has always taken care of Kaiden not only at home but at school also. Gavon did a really good job on his talk. Kaiden was really nervous about being baptized because RJ teased him one night and said maybe he would hold him under the water for 5 min, but when he entered the water he was so calm. He looked so sweet standing there with a huge Kaiden smile on his face. It was very special. Kaiden we love you very much and are so proud of your decision to be baptized.

Visiting Grandma Jones

Blakelee, Me and Grandma Jones
This week my mom, sisters and I went down to Kolob to see my Grandma Jones. For all who have heard stories of my "Hi" grandma this is her. She is truly an amazing person. She was born in 1919 and has experienced some great things in her life. She was born into a family of all girls so her dad took her with him everywhere. She really was a tomboy. She hearded cattle and even has a few wild Indian stories. In Enterprise every 24th of July they have foot races. She won every race she ever ran even into her thirties. She was raced a boy that was 3 years older that her and quite a bit taller that her short 5'4' frame. She said she was very nervous racing him but she beat him pretty bad. She raised 2 of her 7 children alone while my grandpa was serving in WWII. My grandpa came back from the war different and much rougher than when he left. He didn't want my grandma to go to church but every week she would sneak out of the house so she could go to church. She lost her 2nd son at the age of 19 in a car accident. She recalls how difficult that time was for her but she says that the Holy Ghost was with her so strong that she never felt alone. She later got a divorce from my grandpa but never stopped loving him. She believes that they will still be together forever. She has 7 children, 36 grandchildren, 143 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren. What a posterity. She has always been such a strong member of the church. She's the one that told me that if you go visiting teaching at the beginning of the month it is because you want to, and if you go at the end of the month it is because you have to. Why do I call her the "Hi" grandma. Well, my grandma would never swear even if she had a mouth full of sh--, so where do I get my swearing from, My grandpa. Anyway, one day my grandma decided she needed to work on something in her life. She decided that when she answers the phone be saying "Hello" she was saying something close to a swear word, so she started answering the phone, "hi". If she doesn't make it to heaven no one will. There is no one else in the world like my grandma Jones. I love you.
